Our Story
Founder and CEO Armo and Jackie Amar opened Torino’s first retail store on 508 Kings Highway Brooklyn, New York in April 2005.  With the advent of high sales and a loyal customer base, they were able to open a second location on 102 Norwwod Avenue, Deal,New Jersey in 2006.  Armo’s affection for fashion and extravagance has been nurtured every since he was a child.  Being the son of a designer, his liking was kindled by his father’s offer to take him to work at age twelve.  There, he had a first-hand experience watching the extensive process and hard work that goes into creating luxurious clothing and accessories.  Armo became an apprentice to his father as he would design one-of-a-kind suits and gowns all by hand for his customers.  Upon going to school in Israel at age 18, he took classes for fashion merchandising and design.  Never a follower and always a leader, he used the artistic styles and knowledge acquired from these classes to create his own unique line of luxury with the utmost value.  With his highly developed flair for fashion, value, and class, he came to the United States at age 21. In 2005, he opened his first retail store, Torino.
